Insights from NRF Next: Digital Tech Powers Customer Experience

NRF Next, held by the National Retail Federation, came to a close this week in Las Vegas. This conference brought together marketers, retailers, and user experience pros that offer attendees a unique deep-dive into the trends and tech evolving the retail sector.

While attendees got immersed in insider knowledge, they were also treated to the best speakers in the retail industry, top products, and a personalized experience like no other.

Speakers such as Mario Moreno, Head of Marketing with H&M, Sarah Hoffmann, CMO with Drybar, and Lockie Andrews, Chief Digital Officer with Untuckit took the stage offering insights into how the brands became the powerhouses they are. With a mix of great products, superior customer experience, and digital technology, each brand has grown significantly.

As every retail knows, the customer experience is key to growth. Great prices and products are no longer the differentiator when it comes to return customers. Instead, today’s enlightened buyer seeks a memorable, unique shopping experience that keeps them coming back for more. One way retailers can improve their customer experience is to embrace personalization, both in content and in acquisition. Consumers have different preferences when it comes to language and channels, and for retailers to be successful, they must leverage digital tools to meet their customer on their domain.
