Jim Cobb is the Director of Electrical Operations at Compu Dynamics, where he oversees and manages the company’s in-house electrical workforce. Jim has more than 25 years of mission-critical design/construction experience, and another decade of experience in the commercial construction industry. Prior to Compu Dynamics, Jim worked for Total Site Solutions, a national data center firm, deploying high-density containerized data centers at eBay and Microsoft sites all around the U.S. Jim also has vast experience managing teams of electricians as a Division Manager and on specific sites as Project Manager, Superintendent, and Foreman. Jim has an enormous depth of expertise in UPS systems, AC and DC power distribution, low voltage cabling, and backup generation – enabling Compu Dynamics to effectively build and upgrade electrical systems for just about any data center environment.
